December 6, 2010 Emily helps support JRfm's Basics for Babies Event

JRfm 93.7 and Emily Taylor Adams team up to raise money for "Basics for Babies". Click for more information on how you an help join in the cause and help support Basics for Babies.

Basics for Babies is the Lower Mainland's Food Banks largest private fundraiser put on by JRFM 93.7, every Christmas to help families with young children, feed and cloth them for the year. People can donate by calling in to JRFM at 604-731-7772 Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm, or by visiting this link for Basics for Babies and follow the easy instructions to donate.

Emily was one of three artists, Chad Brownlee and Dean Brody, given the opportunity to sing at the breakfast at the Sheraton Guildford. The event is open to the public with the goal of raising money and gifts, diapers, formula for all the wee children in the lower mainland of B.C. Christmas is the time to put Basics for Babies in the forefront of peoples minds, but the need for children is all year!

    November 30, 2009 Emily shooting her first CMT Video

    Emily Taylor Adams is off to the island of Maui in the early part of December to shoot her first CMT Video. Emily is very excited to have her song "What Would It Feel Like" shot on the beautiful beaches of Maui. (Can life truly get much better!)

    Emily has had the honour of being nominated for the British Columbia Music Associations "Ray McAuley Horizon Award" for 2009.

    The Awards show is being held at the Red Robinson Theatre October 25th.

    February 11, 2009 Debut Single to Radio

    Things We Remember is the debut single release from Emily Taylor Adams. Emily says "It feels like I've been waiting my whole life to finally get my music on the radio. Recording my debut CD has been a dream come true and I really hope everyone at country radio and the fans across Canada like my music. I can't wait to get out and start performing across Canada." Emily's debut CD will be available in record stores this summer.

    February 10, 2009 Emily Writing on Music Row

    Emily has recently returned from Nashville song writing with some of music rows hottest writers. Emily has had the pleasure of collaborating with the likes of Wade Kirby "I Saw God Today" George Straight... Lee Miller "Your Gonna Miss This" Trace Atkins... Emily says "Being in the room with such talented people is very intimidating at first. I can't believe how they come up with such great ideas and make such wonderful music. I have learned so much from my new friends in Nashville and look forward to continue writing in the near future.

    September 2, 2008 Canadian Country Music Showcase

    Emily was thrilled to learn of her Canadian Country Music showcase appearance coming up on Friday September 5 in Winnipeg, MB. Emily was chosen from over 200 artists to perform at this years event.

    Following Emily's CCMA performance she will be heading back to Nashville to finish writing and recording songs for her debut CD. Fans can expect a first single from Emily's debut CD in early 2009.
